The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Group

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a wide array of personalities, and a gripping narrative showcasing divine entities, evil spirits, and sinister influences increasing in power within the city.

Note: Revealing details for the third episode of this adventure are included.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the premier party of characters who will separate from the main group to undertake their separate journey, distinct from the other two tables.

This warrior group features the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

With 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that maintaining everyone at one table would be unworkable.

That’s why, the opening chapters of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, intertwining the personal journeys before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Strategists, and Seekers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

As described by the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented story mode where diplomatic options are rare.

Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer the cleric might seem mismatched, but the actions of episode 3 show why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Motivations for Departure

To begin with, the party understands precisely where to proceed after a brutal first encounter with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose demise started the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his selfish purposes, invading the hidden lair, attacking the character, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The antagonist then cleared his obligations and escaped to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Cyd close behind.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each character has a individual motive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and trusted friend, seeks revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the region and cautions that it is a hostile place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to execute the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • Yet, their status as key figures in House Halovar could enable the party reach locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The grateful character swore a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his deliverance and will now follow him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that control the city for a multiple motives, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The healer turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the family.

This leaves them few options but to travel to the northern region in quest for the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

Based on episode three’s post-show segment, we discover that the warrior group will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight cast members to assemble the Seekers and Planners groups.

Fans can look forward to finding out which characters will be in which group in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, released on the upcoming Thursday.
